Yorkville moves on to play Batavia High School in the Class 7A Quarterfinal
The Foxes defeated Moline 34-31 in 4OT on Friday, November 4th to advance to the IHSA Quarterfinal for the first time since 1999. The Foxes (10-1) will travel to Batavia for a 1:00 p.m. game this Saturday, November 12th. Tickets for the game can be purchased online now for $7.00 a ticket at https://gofan.co/app/events/776910?schoolId=IL15735 Tickets at the gate on Saturday will be $8.00 per ticket. Gates open at noon. Let's fill Bulldog Stadium with Yorkville Foxes Fans!

Boys and Girls Cross Country are Headed to State!

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams on advancing to this Saturday’s IHSA State Finals at Detweiller Park in Peoria! The girls placed 4th and the boys 6th at the Normal Community sectional in route to advancing to the State Finals. The boys were led by Ben Whaley’s 17th place finish in a time of 15:43 and the girls were led by Sophia Keelre’s 11th place finish in a time of 18:26. Good luck to our runners as they compete in the State Finals!

Football Hosts Moline in the 2nd Round of The IHSA Playoffs!

The Yorkville Varsity football team defeated Libertyville 33-8 on Friday, October 28, 2022 to advance in the IHSA Playoffs! The Foxes host the Moline Maroons in the 2nd round of the 7A playoffs on Friday, November 4th at 7:00 p.m. The gates will open for the game at 5:30 p.m. and all spectators will be required to pay a $6.00 admission fee. Come support the Foxes as they look to advance to the IHSA Quarterfinals for the first time since 1999!

Football Hosts Libertyville in the 1st Round of The IHSA Playoffs!

The Foxes (8-1) host the Libertyville Wildcats in the 1st round of the 7A playoffs tonight Friday, October 28th. The gates will open for the game at 6:00 p.m. and all spectators will be required to pay a $5.00 admission fee. All students, Middle and High School, are required to pay the admission fee set by the IHSA. Come support the Foxes as they begin the postseason!

Important information regarding Summer School 2022 Opportunities!

In our continued efforts to support the students of Yorkville High School, we offer a full complement of courses as part of our in person Summer School Experience. Please see the Summer 2022 Curriculum Guide & registration link for our full course offerings.
We anticipate a high demand for these classes, so please register as soon as possible. You can register by accessing the Summer 2022 Curriculum Guide & registration link (https://www.y115.org/Page/5466) on the district’s website. Semester 1 registrations and fees are due by May 20th. Additionally, we ask that you communicate with your student’s counselor via email when you enroll your student in Summer School so your student’s counselor can review your student’s 4 year plan and transcript to provide any necessary academic advising regarding summer school. If you have any questions regarding which summer school course your student should take, please reach out directly to their counselor.

Junior Reyna Morton took 6th in Photo Storytelling, Junior Kylee Sandon took 6th in Editorial Cartooning and 3rd in Advertising, junior Andrew Meier took 6th in Advertising and 6th in Editorial Writing, junior Lotte Puenjer took 2nd in Editorial Writing, and sophomore Michelle Dongmo took 6th in Yearbook Spread Design.
