"Demon Possession" by Rev. Nevius is an absolutely fascinating collection of accounts by missionary Christian priests in China during the 1800s.

Families, even entire villages converted to Christianity on the evidence of local practitioners of witchcraft being usurped; those possessed by negative spiritual entities seen delivered, and "haunted" houses that had become stigmatized properties witnessed cleansed of lingering spirits by priests and baptized Christians.
