Thank you to the Village of McDonald for hosting an amazing Village market today and for inviting us. Our troop paired with troop 80418 for a lemonade stand. Our girls met members of our community and had a great time!

Our Girl Scouts will be selling lemonade at the village market in McDonald stop down to support our village and see these cuties with other McDonald troops! They will be there Saturday 10:00-2:00.

Our troop attended Nature Day at woodland park today. They learned all about insects and even got to see a live beehive. They earned their eco learner badge and had a great time! Thank you to our village and park for this great event.

Our troop took charge of the GS Art Show this year. Thank you to everyone who submitted artwork. The show will be open through July 7th in the Art Outreach Gallery at the Eastwood Mall (Dillard concourse)

Our troop visited Ford Nature Center earth day week and took in all it has to offer outside and inside. We walked the trail, learned how to use binoculars and watched for birds and played in the nature education gallery downstairs.

Start creating artwork for the Girl Scout Art show! All local Girl Scouts are welcome to participate! Please spread the word. Our troop will be creating a troop project and may enter individual artwork made at home as well.

Today our troop earned the magenta petal, Respect Authority. We visited the police station where they met two officers and toured the station and municipal Building. They got to meet our Mayor and play in a police car. A huge thank you to our police department for having the girls in today. They even provided a snack!

Our Troop participated in our first Thinking Day today. Our country was Dominican Republic. The girls have been working hard to learn about the country and its culture. They performed a traditional festival dance for their fellow Girl Scouts. So proud of them.

Today our troop joined troop 80418 to create valentines for the residents at Home Instead. Thank you to our fellow Girl Scouts for hosting such a great meeting for us!

Today our troop learned about the Dominican Republic! We will present the country to other troops at Thinking Day in February. It was also picture day so they looked extra cute today.
