This month we are partnering with The Youngsville Dive Team on Sunday, May 24th to help raise funds for their recovery operations. Youngsville Dive Team, (a sub-team of Youngsville Rescue and EMS) is the primary public safety dive team for Franklin and surrounding counties, our elite unit stands ready to deploy statewide at a moment’s notice. We are one of the few specialized teams capable of performing dangerous underwater operations in total darkness, ensuring that our community is protected 24/7. The Youngsville Dive Team, with the Youngsville Rescue and EMS and members of our families enjoyed participating in the Carolina Hurricanes' First Responder Appreciation Night this evening, and cheering on the Canes to a win. Thanks to the Canes for recognizing First Responders!

Shout out and thinks to Jamie Brewer with Alamance County Rescue, Darrel Adams and Tony Pietrantonio with PSIG for their involvement staging an awesome surprise training event. Great experience having the opportunity to work and build relationships with joint supporting agencies and to see collaborative resources first hand. Harnett County dive team, Hall River Fire and Police along with our Youngsville dive team members, Great training event guys.

Please come out and join the Youngsville Dive Team, other first responders, military, cadets, and many other organizations on September 11, 2025, as we particpate in the 12th annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, to honor the fallen who lost their lives while trying to save others on September 11, 2001.

Monday Evening, YDT was requested by WCSO & NWFD to assist with a vehicle recovery in a small body of water.

With the help of Justice Towing & Transport, divers were able to successfully clear, rig, and recover the vehicle and prevent it from further polluting the waters where it was found resting.
