With the end of the traditional school year nearly upon us, I've been working hard to get Summer Reading books listed in the Plumfield catalog, and great progress has been made!

The Summer Reading lists, separated by grade level for rising 1st-6th grades, are generously provided by Trinity Academy of Raleigh and can be found on our website here: https://www.plumfieldlibrary.org/summer-reading

Each individual title is linked to the Plumfield catalog record for that title, and patrons can easily request them there. Many out-of-print books are available!

Construction has begun! We are in the process of putting up walls, carpet, and shelving to make the in-person Plumfield space a reality. We are eager to welcome families to a 400 sq. ft. library experience! Once Plumfield is in this new space, we will also expand our hours, catalog, and programming (see below for details). The Bookstore side of Plumfield is on hiatus, while we focus our efforts on the construction and creation of a warm, welcoming physical space to house the Plumfield Children's Library.

In the meantime, the Library is still open for porch pickup of borrowed books, and the following items are still available on our website:
