The 211th Military Police Company, 105th Military Police Battalion, 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, North Carolina Army National Guard is located in Youngsville, NC. This page is designed for Soldiers assigned to the unit and their family members, past and present . Without our families' unyielding love and support, none of us would be able to do what we do. You are the foundation that makes u

s strong, and it is you who must truly sacrifice. It is a sacrifice that does not go unnoticed and we thank you for all you endure on our behalf. We all have the honor of representing a unit that has answered our nation’s call to arms on multiple occasions. Since it was federally recognized in 1968, the 211th has served in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm from 1990 - 1991, Operation Enduring Freedom Afghanistan in 2002, and Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 – 2004. It has also answered the call here at home in 2005 to aid those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and again in 2012 in support of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC. In 2013, the 211th was called upon again in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. No matter what the needs of this great state and nation, the Mountain Enforcers are always “Ready when called.”

Yesterday marked Sergeant First Class (SFC) Madison Mozingo’s official last day in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

An invaluable Soldier and leader, she culminated her career as the 211th MP Company’s Operations NCO and HQ Platoon Sergeant. Her dedication, professionalism, and leadership left a lasting impact on the formation.

As she now focuses on family and her civilian career, we wish her nothing but success in all her future endeavors. She will be greatly missed!

📍 Fort Bragg, NC
This month, Soldiers from the 211th Military Police Company sharpened their resilience, confidence, and teamwork through dynamic training events designed to build both mental and physical toughness. 💪

From static line parachuting familiarization at the U.S. Army Advanced Airborne School’s 34-foot mock towers, to land navigation, and finishing strong with the All American Mile Obstacle Run, these Military Police Soldiers proved their grit and strengthened unit cohesion every step of the way.

The 211th MP Company continues to remain ready, resilient, and always mission-focused. ⚔️🇺🇸

What’s better than field training? Field PT, of course!

After concluding this month’s Round Robin training event at the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office training facility, 211th Soldiers engaged in team-building through a tactical relay race. Events included a water jug relay, litter carries and buddy carries, 3-5 second rushes, and bear crawls.

Outstanding job, Enforcers!

Even in the path of a tropical storm, your team remains Ready When Called!

Soldiers from the 211th were activated last week in response to Tropical Storm Debby. The storm left thousands without power, with some coastal towns in the Carolinas reporting historic flooding. When natural disasters strike, the North Carolina National Guard steps in to assist our community. Teams were educated on swift-water rescue operations, emergency evacuation procedures, and convoy operations in flooded conditions.

Thank you to our local first responders who made this State Activation a success for all, to the Soldiers from the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade who answered the call and supported the mission, and to our own 211th team for all their hard work.

After the Land Navigation portion of the 2024 109th Military Police Battalion Best Warrior Competition, candidates were tested on their technical and tactical skills in a “Round Robin” event. Each candidate cycled through various stations, including the disassembly and reassembly of the M2 .50 caliber machine gun, combat casualty care, and 9-Line MEDEVAC request.

Stay tuned for the final results of the competition!

This year’s Annual Training would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the 211th’s vehicle maintenance and recovery team. Led by SGT Dylan Eckley and SPC Sam Etheridge, the wrecker team was responsible for countless tactical vehicle recovery operations.

When large tactical vehicles, such as the MAT-V (seen in the fourth photo), break down, it takes an experienced team to tow them to safety, fix the mechanical issues, and get them back on the road.

Mechanics for the 211th include SSG Tam Nguyen (motor sergeant), SGT Ariel Siekawitch, SPC Joel Malit, and SPC Brittany Lila-Galicia (logistics). Together, these Soldiers put in many long hours in the Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) to fix identified mechanical issues.

The third event of the 2024 109th Military Police Battalion Best Warrior Competition tested each Candidate’s practical knowledge of Land Navigation. Candidates were given a series of grid coordinates and were tasked with plotting each point on a map and successfully finding their corresponding markers, deep in the woods of Fort Barfoot, Virginia.

Although sponsors accompanied their candidates through the Land Navigation course, they were prohibited from providing any assistance to the candidates during this task.

Soldiers first learn about Land Navigation in Basic Combat Training (BCT). Being able to orient a map, use a compass, plot points, use terrain association, and establish a good pace count are all critical Soldier tasks.

“Being deep in the woods like this, having to find your way through the brush with just a compass and a map—that, to me, is the most exciting thing about being a Soldier,” said Chaplain Sanchez. “You have to rely on your skills to make it through… it’s a good way to see what you’re made of.”

Sergeant Frank Dunning and Specialist Brooke Gheen were the first two candidates in their respective categories to find all their points and make it back to the starting area. Way to represent the 211th MP CO!
