YCF Medical Equipment Lending Center Serves Youngtown, Surprise, El Mirage, Peoria, and Glendale. We loan durable medical equipment for short term use. Some items require a prescription.

The Youngtown Community Fund Inc. / Medical Lending Center loans durable medical equipment at no cost to residents of El Mirage, Peoria, Surprise and Youngtown for up to 4 months. We loan such items as walkers, wheel chairs, transport chairs, shower chairs and crutches.

Youngtown Community Fund Medical Equipment Lending Center is expanding our outreach across the Northwest Valley — because the more people who know about us, the more people we can help. Here's a "sneak peak" of our new website.

We provide wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower chairs, commodes and other medical equipment at NO COST to people in need.

Every month, approximately 150 people receive assistance from the Youngtown Medical Equipment Lending Center. Each person represents a neighbor, friend, or family member in need.

Between January and June 2023, individuals served by the Youngtown Medical Equipment Lending Center saved a combined $73,063 by borrowing medical equipment instead of purchasing it. Every loan helps local residents access the equipment they need while reducing financial burdens during recovery and rehabilitation.
