Restock alert! Everything in the library has been rotated out to give you something fabulous, fun, and interesting to read as the sunny days are warming up! Lots of great paperbacks, all kinds of kids books and easy readers, even some Goosebumps if you've got a nostalgia bug to tickle! Thanks again for all your donations, and happy reading!

There's been a huge book donation! Mostly children's books, but we are fully stocked! Additionally, someone was able to snag our Good Morning America bookclub book, "The Storm We Made" by Vanessa Chan - so there's another copy out there now! Thanks again, GMA! And finally, GO BLUE! Super fun news, neighbors! We've been selected this month as one of the winners of the Good Morning America Book Club, and they've sent us their featured book, "The Storm We Made" by Vanessa Chan! GMA interviewed the author, who spoke about it in general and answered other LFL stewards' questions! Saturday shelfie! We are replenished with some spooky books, some Halloween pencils for the kiddos, and it looks as if a rocky pumpkin patch has sprung up! Painted rocks are a fun way to to brighten someone's day: take them and hide them around town for others to find and hide as well!

Ya'll. Your generosity is great, but we are *not a clothes bin. Whomever stuffed the library full of clothes and left a bunch outside, with rain expected, is a poo poo thing to do to a LIBRARY. I'll be taking it to a clothes bin, but you could've too. Let's keep it LITERARY and not potentially UNSANITARY. Bed bugs are real. This also goes for half-used cosmetics and lotions. This is a hard no. It all gets thrown out immediately.

Help find Dewey! Someone has recently stolen our concrete turtle from the flower bed at the Garland Street Little Library! Has he wandered into your yard? Do you know anyone nefariously stealing concrete turtles? As much as I'd like to believe in the best of people, Dewey's kidnapper had to be very determined as he's a very chonky boi. I will offer a $50 reward for his return.

Don't steal things that aren't yours, from a library meant to share joy with every neighbor.

Hello neighbors! This is a very friendly reminder that the little free *library* is for *books*! The occasional calendar, crossword puzzle, or puzzle is acceptable BUT it is not a place to share your old and used cosmetics and body moisturizers! You're very generous, but ultimately it is unsanitary and worse, if someone were to have an allergic reaction, I don't need to be held accountable. Thank you!

It's finally snowy around here AND it's National Library Shelfie Day so this called for a snowperson and a FULL REFRESH of the library! The plow threw some slush at us but we shoveled it out and it's ready for you to visit! There's some great new adult fiction, lots of fun middle readers, and a bunch of SNOWY books for the kids! There might also be some Valentine's books in there already...

12 days until Christmas Eve, neighbors! And that means all your generous donations of holiday themed books that I've been saving all year are coming out! Come check out holiday books for kiddos and adults, and I'll be putting new stuff out every few days!
Unfortunately we don't have any snow, but you might see a festive sparkly unicorn lighting your way to your next great book!
