🧪 Science in Action at South Arbor! 🔬

Our 7th graders got hands-on with science during a chemical changes lab in Mr. Baker’s class! Our scholars are exploring scientific concepts, making observations, and learning what happens when substances undergo chemical changes.

We love seeing our Knights learning through hands-on experiences!

Harvey the Hedgehog is showing students what respect looks like in action! 🦔

Through our Moral Focus™ program, students at our South Arbor Charter Academy learn how virtues like respect show up in everyday moments, like waiting patiently and letting others go first.

Ask your child: How can you show respect today? We’d love to hear their answers in the comments!

October is Fire Safety Month, and last week our Young 5–2nd grade scholars had a special visit from the Milan Fire Department!

Our youngest scholars had the opportunity to meet local firefighters, learn important safety tips, and get a closer look at the equipment they use to help keep our community safe. ‍👨‍🚒🚒

A big thank you to the Milan Fire Department for spending time with our scholars and helping make safety education fun and memorable!

Go Knights!

Our South Arbor Culture Club hosted Los Lagos Grandes Mariachi, a talented mariachi trio last week for Hispanic Heritage Month.

Our scholars enjoyed an exciting performance featuring traditional mariachi music and dance while learning about the history and cultural significance of these traditions throughout Latin America. Some of our students had the opportunity to join in and learn the traditional La Raspa dance.

What a fun and memorable way to experience music, dance, and culture right here at South Arbor.

Go Knights!💙

Thank you to our performers and our South Arbor Culture Club for creating such a wonderful experience for our scholars!

📣 South Arbor Spirit at Rynearson Stadium! 📣

Last month, our Junior Cheer Team, coached by Ms. Tucker, had the exciting opportunity to perform a pregame routine at Rynearson Stadium! What a fun experience for our cheerleaders to take the field and show off their South Arbor spirit!
And to make the day even better, the EMU Eagles took the win over the Lindenwood Lions! 🏈
We’re proud of our Junior Cheer Team and the memories they’re making beyond the walls of South Arbor!
Go Knights! 💙
