October’s Moral Focus: RESPECT!

This month, we’re putting RESPECT in the spotlight! Respect is the foundation of positive relationships, strong communities, and a welcoming school culture where everyone feels valued and included.

Throughout October, students will explore what it means to show respect through their words, actions, and choices. They’ll learn to recognize the value and dignity of others, practice kindness and empathy, and appreciate the many different perspectives and experiences that make our school community special.

Together, let’s make respect a daily choice—in the classroom, in the hallway, on the playground, and beyond!

Who says you can’t wear your students’ creativity? 👗🎨

At East Arbor, our annual “Dress the Principal” Summer Learning Challenge turns student artwork into custom fashion! This year, 5th grader Abigail W. saw her design come to life as a dress worn by Principal Newby.

From creative designs to schoolwide celebrations, this is what makes our school community special! 💙
