Co-owners, the Arbor Ridge (ARCC) Association meeting scheduled for Tuesday (not Wednesday as stated on the mailed invitation), Nov. 17, is postponed in accord with the intent of the recent Michigan Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253 – Gatherings and Face Mask Order. While the Board of Directors is aware that the Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253 – Gatherings and Face Mask Order does not technically take effect until Wednesday, we decided an Association meeting is not worth the risk.



The Board will notify co-owners when we determine a plan for the Association meeting.

Police are asking that we evacuate the neighborhood due to nearby explosions/fire along Morgan Road.

Explosions were heard miles away.

Thinking about cleaning your vinyl siding this summer? I can't vouch for how safe any of these methods are in this article (I would check with a siding professional first to avoid damaging your siding), but there are some ideas to use as starting points. We are using just a biodegradable, earth and animal-friendly soap and water, as that's all it took last year to remove the mold.

Since the popularity of synthetic exteriors is indisputable, it's no wonder that many so homeowners wish to know how to clean vinyl siding.

COYOTE SIGHTING. Once again, we spotted a coyote crossing the walking path yesterday in broad daylight. This is the 3rd or 4th sighting. Although coyotes are usually very timid, they will approach pets and small children (sometimes bigger people) if they are looking for a food source. It's important not to toss any food or animal remains into the woods that may attract them and encourage them to stay.

Just as a quick follow-up about the moss on the north side of homes...we've had some feedback on cleaning methods that worked for folks. Which one you use will probably depend on the extent of the moss that needs removal...1) Dawn dish soap plus water, scrubbed on with a rag and then rinsed, 2) a mold remover liquid purchased at Home Depot, sprayed on with a hose, 3) same mold remover sprayed on with a power washer and 4) hiring a professional power washer. Hope that helps!
