VA Pension / VA Survivors Pension receipients.

VA Pension and VA Survivors Pension is Income Based. You are required to notify the VA if your Income increases. One of the most common increases occur if you are receiving Social Security and your benefit increases.

The increase in Social Security benefits may affect the amount that you receive for your VA Pension. Keep track of your out of pocket medical expenses.

When your Social Security benefits increase, make an appointment with our office. We will submit the out of pocket medical expenses.

Failure to report report the out of pocket medical expenses may decrease your VA Pension benefits, or may cancel your benefits and cause an overpayment of benefits with the VA.
