🚔 DUI & Driver’s License Checkpoint Results 🚔

Keeping our roads safe is a team effort—and we appreciate everyone who did their part! 🙌

On August 21, 2026, the Yuba City Police Department conducted a DUI and driver’s license checkpoint on Bridge Street between Plumas Street and Cooper Avenue. The goal was simple: help prevent impaired driving, encourage responsible driving, and keep everyone traveling through our community safe.

🚗💨
Here’s how the checkpoint went:

🚗 469 vehicles passed through the checkpoint🪪 3 unlicensed drivers were cited

The operation was conducted by 7 officers, with additional support from a Community Service Officer, Public Safety Dispatcher, and Records Specialist. Thank you to every member of our team who helped make this operation possible! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️
This checkpoint was funded through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS).

A big thank you to the drivers who were properly licensed, drove responsibly, and helped us keep our roadways safer. ❤️

Remember: Drive sober. Drive responsibly. Make sure you’re properly licensed.

Together, we can make a difference and help everyone get home safely. 🛣️
