❤️ A Life Saved: Celebrating Teamwork, Training, and Determination
Today, we’re proud to recognize an extraordinary cardiac arrest save and the many people whose actions helped make a remarkable outcome possible.
This story began before emergency responders arrived. The patient’s family quickly recognized the emergency and immediately started CPR, providing the critical first link in the chain of survival.
When personnel from Linda Fire Department arrived, they continued lifesaving efforts with rapid intervention and early defibrillation, helping preserve the patient’s chance of survival until Bi-County Ambulance crews arrived on scene.
From there, Paramedic Cole Jacinto and EMT Joseph Granata went to work.
Through skilled, focused, and relentless resuscitation efforts—including advanced cardiac life support, medication administration, repeated defibrillation, and exceptional patient care under immense pressure—the crew helped turn a low-probability outcome into a successful save.
Calls like these remind us that cardiac arrest survival doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because families act quickly, first responders work seamlessly together, and EMS professionals bring their training, experience, and determination to every second that matters.
Today, that teamwork paid off in the best possible way: the patient survived and was ultimately discharged home.
To Cole and Joseph, thank you for your professionalism, clinical excellence, and unwavering commitment to patient care. Your actions made a lasting difference.
To the patient’s family and Linda Fire Department, thank you for being critical links in the chain of survival. Your early actions mattered.
This was a true team effort, and Bi-County Ambulance is honored to recognize everyone involved in a call that could have ended very differently.
