Like LEGOS? From August 16th to September 26, the Yucca Valley Library has LEGO time for 6-11-year olds. On Wednesdays at 4pm, kids can build LEGO projects individually or in groups. And, there's Family Game Time on Tuesdays at 4pm-- you can bond with your 6-11 over a variety of board games.

And the Friends of the Yucca Valley Library can help! Get 2 books/DVDs for $1: Thrifty Thursday for SENIORS on July 30th & Super Saturday Sale on August 1st. Got too many books? Donate books to the library for resale in our bookstore--we are running low (kids books especially) and all proceeds fund the Summer Reading Program's entertainers. (Just kidding about having too many books!)

On Thursdays, seniors can take advantage of THRIFTY THURSDAYS FOR SENIORS, but on Saturday, June 6th, everyone can take advantage of so many recent donations of books/DVDs that you can buy 4 items for a dollar. Bring a BIG backpack.
