1-134 CAV SQDN and 2-134th Airborne are leading units the Nebraska Army National Guard call when they need results right here, right now.

Within 24 hours of getting a notification we are sending an all volunteer group of Soldiers and Airmen to Florida for hurricane relief. We had more people show up than the Governor and General asked for. We initiated calling trees and people left work to put their lives on hold for an unknown amount of time. The volunteers reported to their armories to pick up their equipment and then drove to Camp Ashland, Nebraska so they could go help other Americans in need, 1300 miles away.

I don’t care who you are that is amazing for Soldiers to drop everything in their lives and not walk, but run to help others when they get the call. The pictures are initial briefings verifying the volunteers were administratively and medically cleared and the NEARNG Adjutant General and the Nebraska State Command Sergeant Major sending the volunteers off.

CAV Troopers of Alpha Troop 1-134th CAV - IBCT, Bravo Troop, 1-134 Cavalry Squadron - 39th IBCT, C TROOP 1-134th CAV - IBCT and paratroopers of the 2-134th Airborne had the opportunity to learn and fire the Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle at Ft. Riley this weekend.

The Saunders County Fair is hosting their annual tractor pull on Sunday / 28JUL. Come out to Wahoo to show your support for Delta Company, 39th BSB (CAV FSC). Delta Company will be displaying the power of their HEMTT Wrecker.

Members of Alpha Troop 1-134th CAV - IBCT, Bravo Troop, 1-134 Cavalry Squadron - 39th IBCT, C TROOP 1-134th CAV - IBCT and 2-134th Airborne had the opportunity to travel to Germany for annual training to participate in 'Operation Rhino Heart'. Operation Rhino Heart is a UK sponsored multi-national exercise conducted in Germany.

Great job representing yourself, Bravo Troop, 1-134 Cavalry Squadron - 39th IBCT, C TROOP 1-134th CAV - IBCT, 1-134 Cavalry Squadron - IBCT and the Nebraska National Guard.
