Someone decided to dump over 100 tires along Grief Road in the Licking View area recently. This resulted in a response from the Sheriff’s Office, County Probation Department and the EMA/LEPC. If you know who dumped these tires please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 740-452-3637 Option 1 and give them the information.

The tires if left there would become a breeding location for mosquitos and other unwanted animals. This is not the only time or location that this has happened in Muskingum County.

It is against the Law to dump tires and is punishable by fines between $10,000.0 and $25,000.00 or imprisonment from two years to four years or both!

Help us keep our County Clean! Don’t dump Tires or Trash along our Roadways. Watch our Solid Waste District website for Special Collection Days.
