Crash on US-64 eastbound near Carlyle Road today. Crews responded at 05:15AM. Two vehicles, minor injuries. Four (4) apparatus and 7 fire personnel.

Pilot FD responded to a structure fire in Zebulon yesterday afternoon off of Bunn Road. 2 Engines and 8 personnel from PFD.

July 4th was hot and busy. Two separate fires.

While you were sleeping.....We were working.....This crash occurred this morning at 01:30 AM on NC39 at Pilot Riley Road. We were alerted immediately that the driver was pinned inside the vehicle. Fire Crews removed the driver within minutes of our arrival, and EMS transported the driver to Wake Med Main Campus. Our personnel returned home at 5:30 AM.

A Special Thank You to all of the agencies that worked with us this week to contain a 25-acre wildland fire. I am proud to work with such a dedicated group of public safety professionals. Firefighters from Pilot FD, Bunn FD, Ferrells FD, and the NC Forest Service walked the entire area in extremely hot conditions and conducted fire suppression efforts. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office provided drone support, and we greatly appreciate the use of their personnel and equipment. Franklin County EMS provided medical surveillance of our teams. Pine Ridge Baptist Church provided a meal and refreshments to our crews during this operation. Thank you! Our community partnerships are very important in times like these.
