Pilot Fire Department participated in a live burn training hosted by Bunn Rural Fire Department. We are so thankful for the opportunity to learn and collaborate with surrounding departments.

Live-fire training is essential for fire departments because it allows firefighters to practice critical skills in a realistic yet controlled environment. This type of training enhances their ability to manage actual fire conditions, understand fire behavior, and operate effectively as a team under pressure—capabilities that cannot be fully developed in a classroom setting. Collaboration between departments further strengthens operational readiness and helps ensure our community is better protected.
