🚧 ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY

City of Raleigh crews will be making sewer repairs on E Sycamore Street between N Gill Street and N Whitley Street on Monday, August 31, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays, follow posted detour signs and use caution near the work zone.

Work is weather permitting. No water or sewer service interruptions are expected.

☀️ Need a place to cool off?

During periods of extreme heat, Wake County public buildings serve as cooling stations where anyone can get out of the heat and cool down in the air conditioning.

The Eastern Regional Center, located at 1002 Dogwood Drive in Zebulon, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Additional cooling stations are available throughout Wake County. Please check each location’s hours and rules before visiting.

⚠️ TRAFFIC ADVISORY | WEST VANCE STREET CLOSURE

West Vance Street in Downtown Zebulon is closed between Arendell Avenue and North Church Street now through 11 p.m. tonight, Friday, August 14, for Rock the Block.

Drivers should plan to use an alternate route when traveling through Downtown Zebulon. Please use caution and watch for pedestrians in the area.
