🌸 Join Us for Our 1st Spring Pop-Up Community Event! 🌸

The Housing Authority of the County of Wake is excited to host our very first Spring Pop-Up Community Event at the Wake Forest New Hope Village Community!

Bring the whole family out for a fun and engaging afternoon.

We’ll have popcorn and sweet ices for the kids 🍿🍧, and representatives from the Town of Wake Forest will be there to connect with residents and share helpful information.

🌿 NOW ACCEPTING BIDS: LAWN CARE SERVICES 🌿

The Housing Authority of the County of Wake (HACW) is now accepting sealed bids for lawn care services for the 2026 mowing season.

📍 Location: 100 Shannon Drive, Zebulon, NC
📅 Bid Deadline: Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM
🚫 No pre-bid meeting required (site visits are highly
recommended)

Scope of Services Includes:
✔️ Grass cutting (bi-weekly schedule)
✔️ W**d eating & edging
✔️ Trash and debris removal prior to mowing
✔️ Blowing/sweeping of sidewalks, streets, and parking areas
✔️ Herbicide application (as needed)
✔️ Shrub trimming and mulch application (as directed)

📌 Services will run approximately April 6, 2026 – November 15, 2026. 📌

Important Requirements:

*Minimum $1 million liability insurance required

*Contractor responsible for all labor, equipment, materials, and site
conditions

*Must comply with all safety and OSHA regulations

*NC Pesticide License required within 30 days of contract award

Contracts will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bidder(s) in the best interest of HACW.

The Housing Authority of the County of Wake is seeking qualified contractors to provide unit inspection and general repair services for occupied housing units in accordance with NSPIRE standards.

Work may include general maintenance such as minor plumbing, electrical repairs, wall patching, and other maintenance items as identified during inspections.

Important Notice - Change in Office Hours

We would like to inform the Public that starting December 12, 2025, our Housing Authority offices will be CLOSED to
in-person visits on the 2nd & 3rd Friday of each month for necessary administrative duties.

During these days, we will still be available to assist you via phone and email.

Our offices will be open on the 1st & 4th Friday of each month for regular in-person service.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we make these adjustments to better serve you.
