Build a Brighter Future with the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program
The Wake County Housing Authority's Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program is a voluntary program designed to help eligible Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants achieve economic independence and reach their personal and financial goals.

The FSS Program partners with participants to create an individualized plan focused on goals such as:

*Obtaining or advancing employment
*Increasing earned income
*Continuing education or job training
*Improving financial literacy
*Building savings through the HUD FSS Escrow Account
*Working toward long-term self-sufficiency

As participants increase their earned income and meet program requirements, they may be eligible to earn money in an escrow savings account that can be accessed upon successful completion of the program.

Whether your goal is finding a better job, returning to school, purchasing a home, or building financial stability, the FSS Program can provide guidance, resources, and support every step of the way.
