🚧 One more construction curveball… 🙃
The Main/Church intersection will be closed Monday and Tuesday, August 24–25. We know this is a particularly inconvenient location, but fortunately, this closure is expected to last only two days. The intersection will reopen once this work is complete.
A longer closure of the Main/Church intersection is anticipated later in September. Those dates have not yet been confirmed. By then, the Church/Lincoln and Church/Central intersections are expected to be open. We will share more information as soon as the September schedule is finalized.
THE GOOD NEWS:
🛍️ Downtown Zeeland businesses remain open!
🅿️ Limited on-street parking will be available along Main Street. As always, additional parking is available in the public lots behind downtown businesses, church parking lots and the Huntington Bank ATM parking lot on North Elm.
↩️ Temporary U-turns will be created on both sides of the Main/Church intersection so you can continue reaching your favorite downtown businesses.
🤞 For now, the Church/Lincoln and Church/Central intersections remain closed, but both are currently expected to reopen by the end of August.
We know this project has required more patience—and more detours—than anyone anticipated. Thank you for continuing to navigate the construction. ❤️
