SR-19/Main Street bridge closure!

“There is no access southbound to cross the bridge”. “The mobile/temporary traffic signals that are in place are not for allowing an alternating flow of traffic to cross the bridge”. “Sitting and waiting at the signal will not activate it to change to a green light”. “Please utilize the posted detour to make your way around the closure”. “The Jackson Township Police Department will be monitoring the area regularly, and failing to obey posted signs and attempting to illegally cross the bridge southbound could result in enforcement action”.

Gregg Drive at Old Little Creek to be closed till Friday the 22nd then open for the holiday weekend. It will then be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for paving.

***ATTENTION*** ROAD CLOSURE ANNOUCMENT

Starting May 20th. The southbound lane of the SR-19 (Perry Highway)/ North Main Street Bridge (Zelienople) will be closed to all traffic. The picture below is the “Detour Route.” Northbound will remain open throughout the project.

July 2nd through July 5th, both lanes will be temporarily open, and the southbound lanes will be closed again starting on July 6th.

This project is expected to end on August 21st.

This is going to cause considerable traffic-related issues during this timeframe. All vehicles in excess of 10 tons/20,000 pounds will be required to use the posted detour. This closure does not exempt them from the posted weight limits.

Please avoid Main Street in Zelienople for there is a fire. Main between New Castle Street and Beaver Street is closed. Heavy delays all around due to the closure.

Missing dog! This pup was found at Hartmann’s Deep Valley Golf Course near Seneca Valley High School. Please share so we can get him home! ***Update***. He has been returned home!
