First post here. Been awhile since formatting things for facebook :)
I’ve been frustrated by a lack of real choice and influence in our government for years. I think that until we put the two party system behind us entirely we will not have true democracy. With AGI knocking on the door, now is the time to start taking how we collectively make decisions about our society works seriously. IMO the way we do it now is a joke.
So .on.issues is something I’ve been writing down designs for and working on part time since 2017. I finally set it up as an official non profit and built a beta app in the last few months. It’s still quite rough but all the core functionality works now and it’s coming along slowly but surely. I hope it is far enough along for people to understand the idea. And to see a vision for a future where we the people actually control our systems of self governance again.
I wish I could be further along and that people could have used it for this election cycle. But I am where I am and I’m happy to be putting it out there for people to see for the first time. I’ve procrastinated as long as possible.

The current goal is fundraising and I will begin running ads after the election. Vote On Issues is a NV non profit corporation committed to improving democracy and nothing else.
Your feedback on the site means a lot. Check out the beta app and even sign up and vote on/rank issues if you’re interested. The app works now and the identity verification process is secure as any standard banking app. We will be making some major changes to the app in the next week or so to make it scalable and fix a number of known issues. The current version is intended just to demonstrate the concept but all data is secure and this is a priority. Once your verified your good to go, and if we don’t actually verify people’s identity the whole thing is garbage in garbage out.
If you feel compelled to share, donate, sign up to volunteer, or just tell me your honest thoughts on why this is a horrible idea and will never work, all these things are needed and greatly appreciated! 🙏 Dave Stewart
