🎓 The City of Zephyrhills - Government was proud to recognize 10 Zephyrhills High School graduating seniors during the school's Night of Excellence Senior Scholarship and Awards Ceremony!

Each of these Zephyrhills High students received a $1,000 scholarship from the as they prepare to begin exciting new chapters in higher education and future careers:

• Jessa Crandell - Oklahoma State University (Agribusiness)
• Karian Estrella Lopez - University of South Florida (Criminology)
• Matthew Goldfarb - University of South Florida or United States Military Academy (Nursing)
• Maya Huertas - Saint Leo University (Ecology)
• Michael J. Lassalle Jr. - Florida Southern College (Nursing)
• Nathalia Matheus - University of South Florida (Architecture)
• Garren Ponder - Howard University (Finance)
• Juan Ponne - Saint Leo University (Political Science)
• Jorgeliz Suarez-Ayala - University of North Florida (Criminal Justice)
• Mariya Varghese - Saint Leo University (Biology – Biomedical & Health Sciences)

The City scholarships were presented by City Manager Billy Poe and City Council member Ken Burgess as part of a community-wide celebration of academic achievement, leadership, and service.
