Whitestown Council President Clinton Bohm Announces Candidacy for Whitestown Town Council
WHITESTOWN, IN – Current Whitestown Town Council President and former Worth Township Trustee Clinton Bohm, announced today that he will be running to continue to represent the second district on the Whitestown Town Council. The second district is located on the northeast side of Whitestown and includes the Heritage, Harvest Park, Bridle Oaks, Clark Manors, and the southern portions of Walker Farms. Bohm will be entering into the final year of his second term in 2023.
“After prayerful consideration and discussions with my wife, Anne, I have decided that there is still more work to be done in service to the members of our community,” said Bohm. “Whitestown is my home and I want to continue to give back to this great community.”
Bohm has served two consecutive terms on the Whitestown Town Council. During that time, he has served on the Redevelopment Commission, the Fire Board, and the Comprehensive Plan Update Commission. He will complete his fourth consecutive year as President of the Town Council at the end of 2022. Bohm has worked closely with other members of the council, town administrative staff, and the public safety teams to improve infrastructure, expand greenspace, and enhance public safety while protecting taxpayers through carefully planned economic development and responsible growth.
“As a council, we have focused on making sure that our public safety equipment and facilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, roads, green space, and sidewalks were significantly improved,” said Bohm. “Should the residents of the second district allow me the opportunity to serve again, I will continue to apply my guiding principles of fiscal responsibility, access to opportunities for all residents of the town, and decision making with an eye to the future. I will push to continue to reduce our tax rates, keep our utility rates frozen, and further improve our fiscal position. There is still work to do! There are a multitude of opportunities to keep Whitestown rising and solidify our growing reputation for being one of the best towns in Indiana to live, work, and raise a family.”
