Hunter Smith files to run for State Representative in district 24
Indianapolis, IN – Longtime Indianapolis Colts punter, Hunter Smith, filed his candidacy on Monday to seek the Indiana House District 24 State Representative seat in the 2024 election.
“On Monday, I took another step towards representing the constituents in district 24,” says Hunter. “I will continue to work towards offering principled, constituent-centered public service and leadership.”
Hunter and his family own and operate WonderTree Farm in Zionsville, a regenerative source of local food and culture to several thousand families living within a few miles of the farm. WonderTree pursues creative, natural ways of adding health to the lives of people, land, and animals.
In the months ahead Smith looks forward to “meeting with my neighbors and constituents in district 24 to understand the different issues and needs that can be developed into legislative solutions at the statehouse.”
The Notre Dame graduate and Super Bowl champion is also an accomplished writer and lead singer in the Hunter Smith Band.
An Indiana resident since 1995, Hunter resides at WonderTree with his wife, Jen, and their four children, Josiah, Samuel, Lydia, and Beau.
