The Eagle family is saddened by our loss of Joey Kellogg.

Joseph “Joey” Kellogg, 18, of Zionsville, went to his eternal home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2016.

Joey is survived by his father Jay Kellogg (Kelli Elliott-Kellogg) of Zionsville, IN, his mother Keli Smith of Valley Center, CA, his brothers Austin and Samuel Kellogg, sister Brandi Avila, all of Zionsville, and brother Austin Brewer, of Terre Haute, his grandparents Dean and Karen Smith, grandmother, Jackie Maxwell, along with many other beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews in both Zionsville and California.

Technology Student Association (TSA) is partnering with the Verizon Foundation to offer the Verizon Innovative App Challenge. This national competition is for all middle and high school students to come up with a mobile app idea that will creatively solve a problem in their school or community. Winning teams will receive mobile devices, up to $20,000 for their school, and the opportunity to be coached by MIT Media Lab professionals to build their app and bring it to Google Play Store. If they can do this, if they can problem-solve in this manner for this particular school project, they’ve got the road ahead of them paved in gold.
