ter was founded in 2002 through the dedicated efforts of the Zionsville Parks Department and the Friends of Zion Nature Center. The Zionsville Nature Center recently moved from its location on Eagle Elementary School grounds to the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Library. Exhibits
Exhibits within the Nature Center focus on local Indiana habitats and wildlife. In addition to exhibits, several educational animals are on display including turtles, snakes and amphibians.

We kicked off summer this week with our Junior Indiana Master Naturalist program! These kids spent the week learning about our state’s natural resources from local experts, hands-on field experiences, and service work!

What is an outdoor escape room? It's a real-life adventure game where teams work together to solve puzzles and uncover hidden messages while exploring outdoors. Basically, we bring all the fun parts of an escape room into nature.

Trying to find something to do this summer?

Step into nature and turn what you find outside into art. Join a naturalist for a hands-on creative experience using materials from the natural world. Participants will explore different ways to make art, such as experimenting with natural dyes, crafting simple jewelry, and trying other nature inspired projects. This one hour program is relaxed and full of creativity, offering a unique way to connect with the outdoors.

Ages: 5yrs and up
$10/$12 resident/nonresident
*All materials are provided. No experience needed, just come ready to explore and make something unique. All participants must register.
