The Water Department is working on a leak on Hamlin Street. Surrounding houses may experience low to no water pressure. Water should be restored in around an hour.

🚨 We welcome everyone to come together as a community and friends to keep our beloved town CLEAN and GREEN! Not only do many hands make work light but can make it fun as well!

🚨 Vests and Trash Bags will be available upon request beginning at 8:00 a.m. on the 25th at City Hall.

Zwolle Secures $2.621 Million for New Water Well and Storage Tank Project

Zwolle, LA – The Town of Zwolle has secured a total of $2.621 million in funding for a major infrastructure improvement project that will strengthen the community’s water system. Funding includes $1.871 million from the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant program and an additional $750,000 through state appropriations.

The funding will be used to drill a new water well and construct a 100,000-gallon water storage tank, helping ensure a safer and more reliable water supply for Zwolle residents for years to come.

Mayor Marvin Frazier and Councilman Allen Rivers said they are proud to help lead the effort and oversee a project that will have a lasting impact on the town’s infrastructure and quality of life.

“This project is an important investment in Zwolle’s future,” said Mayor Frazier. “The new water well and storage tank will improve reliability and service for our residents.”

The Zwolle Town Council fully supports the project, and construction timelines will be announced as they become available.
