Ada Lovelace (1815 - 1852) - British mathematician often called the world’s first computer programmer. She worked with Charles Babbage on the Analytical Engine and, in 1843, wrote what is considered the first computer programme. Today, she is honoured through Ada Lovelace Day and the programming language Ada.
