Georgia in Uzbekistan

2026 წლის 21 მარტს, უზბეკეთის რესპუბლიკაში, ქ. ტაშკენტში, საქართველოს საელჩოს მხარდაჭერით და ქართული დიასპორული ორგანიზაციის “მეგობრობა” მონაწილეობით , ნავრუზის დღესასწაულის აღსანიშნავად გაიმართა ეროვნული კულტურული ცენტრების სადღესასწაულო კონცერტი, რომელშიც მონაწილეობა მიიღო უზბეკეთის რესპუბლიკის პრეზიდენტმა ბატონმა შავკატ მირზიოევმა.

On March 21, 2026, in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Embassy of Georgia and the participation of the Georgian diaspora organization “Megobroba,” a festive concert of national cultural centers was held to celebrate Navruz. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

2026 წლის 19 მარტს, სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქის, უწმინდესისა და უნეტარესის ილია II-ის გარდაცვალებასთან დაკავშირებით, უზბეკეთის რესპუბლიკის საგარეო საქმეთა მინისტრის მოადგილე, ბაბურ უსმანოვი უზბეკეთის რესპუბლიკაში საქართველოს საელჩოს ეწვია და სამძიმრის წიგნში ჩანაწერი გააკეთა.

On 19 March 2026, following the passing of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Babur Usmanov, visited the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Uzbekistan and made an entry in the Book of Condolences.

საქართველოს მთავრობამ გამოაცხადა ეროვნული გლოვა სახელმწიფო დაკრძალვის დასრულებამდე, რომელიც გაიმართება 22 მარტს. შესაბამისად, საქართველოს საელჩოში ეროვნული დროშა დაეშვება ნახევარ მასტზე.

უწმინდესისა და უნეტარესის, ილია II-ის, სრულიად საქართველოს კათოლიკოს-პატრიარქის ხსოვნის პატივსაცემად, საელჩოში გაიხსნება სამძიმრის წიგნი შემდეგ მისამართზე:
უზბეკეთი, ტაშკენტი, იუნუსაბადის რაიონი, ფირდავსის ქუჩა №7.

სამძიმრის წიგნი ხელმისაწვდომი იქნება შემდეგ საათებში:
• 19 მარტი – 14:00-დან 18:00-მდე
• 20 მარტი – 10:00-დან 17:00-მდე

The Government of Georgia has declared a period of National Mourning until the conclusion of the State
Funeral on 22 March. Consequently, the national flag at the Embassy of Georgia will be flown at half-mast;
A Book of Condolences in memory of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia
will be opened at the Embassy’s premises located at №7 Firdavsi street, Yunusobod District, Tashkent,
Uzbekistan, during the following hours:
•19 March, from 2:00 pm, to 6:00 pm
• 20 March, from 10:00 pm to 5:00 pm

I extend my condolences to all of Georgia on the passing of the spiritual father of our nation, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.
With his passing, a great era in the history of our Mother Church and the Georgian state has come to an end. The period of patriarchate of His Holiness coincided with the most difficult and pivotal years for our country. Along this historic path, he remained a spiritual leader of the nation and a symbol of unity. Through his wisdom, love for others, boundless patience and capacity for forgiveness, the Patriarch strengthened faith in our hearts.
The legacy of His Holiness goes beyond the purely spiritual dimension. His contribution to preserving national identity, safeguarding traditions and strengthening statehood is invaluable. Through his selfless service to God, the homeland and humanity, Ilia II has secured an eternal place among the greatest figures in our centuries-old history.
I extend my sincere condolences to the Georgian Apostolic Autocephalous Orthodox Church, the Holy Synod, the clergy, the faithful and every single citizen of the country. It is the duty of us and all future generations to carefully preserve the immense legacy of our spiritual father.
May his memory be eternal.

მიმდინარე წლის 11 დეკემბერს ტაშკენტში გაიმართა კომპანია „თეგეტა მოტორსის“ სერვის ცენტრის გახსნის საზეიმო ცერემონიაზე, რომელიც რეგიონში ერთ-ერთ საიმედო, ინოვაციურ და ტექნოლოგიურად განვითარებულ კომპანიად ჩამოყალიბდა.

საქართველოსა და უზბეკეთს შორის სავაჭრო-ეკონომიკური, კულტურული და ადამიანური კავშირებიდან გამომდინარე, უზბეკეთში ქართული კომპანიის „თეგეტა მოტორსის“ საქმიანობის გაფართოება, მნიშვნელოვან წვლილს შეიტანს უზბეკეთის საქართველო-უზბეკეთს შორის ეკონომიკური თანამშრომლობისა და ურთიერთნდობის განმტკიცების საქმეში.

აღსანიშნავია, რომ პროექტის რეალიზაცია შესაძლებელი გახდა სახელმწიფო სტრუქტურების მხარდაჭერისა და უზბეკეთის ბიზნეს პარტნიორებთან მჭიდრო თანამშრომლობის საფუძველზე.

On December 11 of this year, a ceremonial opening of the Tegeta Motors service center was held in Tashkent. The company has established itself as one of the most reliable, innovative, and technologically advanced enterprises in the region.

Considering the strong trade, economic, cultural, and people-to-people ties between Georgia and Uzbekistan, the expansion of the Georgian company Tegeta Motors in Uzbekistan will make a significant contribution to strengthening economic cooperation and mutual trust between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that the implementation of the project became possible thanks to the support of state institutions and close cooperation with business partners in Uzbekistan.
