🚨Suspicious Activity 🚨

Earlier this week, Tobago Cays Marine Park rangers spotted this boat within park boundaries during suspicious hours.

If you were fishing or planning to fish within the Marine Park, please refrain immediately!

Over the past year, there have been several sightings of individuals fishing illegally within the Marine Park. We are reminding everyone that fishing in the Tobago Cays Marine Park is strictly prohibited to protect our fragile marine ecosystems that depend on this sanctuary.

Be advised that fines and penalties apply to anyone caught in the act of illegal fishing within the Marine Park.

🌿✨ Restoring the Beauty of the Tobago Cays ✨🌿

It’s been one year and one month since Hurricane Beryl, and while the journey of recovery continues, we’re proud to share the small but meaningful steps being made.

Today, our team focused on giving the park a fresh touch — repainting the benches for our visitors to enjoy. Each effort, no matter how simple, is part of restoring the Tobago Cays to its natural charm and ensuring that both our community and our visitors can continue to experience the beauty of this paradise.

🛠️ Recovery is a process, but we’re getting there — together. 💙💚

As the week of activities come to a close, it is safe to say that Sea Camp 2025 was a splash. The camp brought kids together to explore and meet persons in the Marine and Eco Tourism field. They got a chance to meet our rangers, explore the Tobago Cays, and learn from our Marine Biologist, Ms. Marleya Adams. We’re so happy to see Sea Camp thriving again after Hurricane Beryl! 🛥️ 🌊 🌤️

✅ Chelonia mydas: Green Sea Turtle (most abundant)
✅ Eretmochelys imbricata: Hawksbill Sea Turtle
✅ Dermochelys coriacea: Leatherback Sea Turtle (few sitings noted)

Tobago Cays Marine Park is a designated NO FISHING ZONE, yet in recent times, some individuals have been ignoring this important rule.

This threatens our fragile marine life, coral reefs, and the very beauty that draws visitors from around the world.
Violators will be penalized. Let’s work together to preserve this national treasure.
