SVG Health The progression of Health, Wellness and Energy in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

To all the men out there checking in on your mental health is just as important as providing for your family.

You don’t have to carry every burden alone. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to talk. It’s okay to not be okay.

Strength isn’t about suffering in silence. Strength is knowing when to reach out.

One conversation could change everything.

In Vincy, we love we mangoes bad, bad, bad. 😄

But remember, too much mango can affect your blood sugar, especially if you’re living with diabetes.

Enjoy this sweet favourite fruit in moderation and share a few with family, friends… or even Frank. 😉

Great news! A negative screening result means no abnormal changes were found.

✅ Negative Pap smear? Continue screening as advised by your healthcare provider.

✅ Negative HPV-DNA test? Repeat testing in 5 years.

Women aged 60–65 with a history of normal results may be able to stop screening, while those with previous abnormal results may need continued follow-up.

Stay up to date with your screenings. Early detection saves lives!

Together, we can help eliminate cervical cancer in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

A positive HPV-DNA test does not mean you have cervical cancer.

✅ Ages 21–29: Pap smear is done every 1–3 years, as advised by your healthcare provider.

✅ Ages 30–59: HPV-DNA test every 5 years if your result is negative.

Regular screening helps detect changes early before cancer develops.

Know your status. Stay informed. Eliminate Cervical Cancer.

🌦️ The climate is changing… and so should we 🌦️

Today, June 1, 2026, marks the start of the Atlantic Wet/Hurricane Season. While forecasts suggest a below-average season, preparedness remains our best defense.

The Ministry extends thanks to the National Emergency Management Organisation NEMO St. Vincent and the Grenadines for inviting the Health Services Sub-Committee to participate in today’s National Climate Outlook Forum. Discussions focused on hurricanes, drought, climate change and health, Saharan dust, and their implications for human health and well-being.

Whether it’s extreme weather, poor air quality, or emerging health risks, the impacts of climate change are already being felt.

Ready or not, the climate is changing and so should we.

During this time, everyone is encouraged to remain alert and take the necessary precautionary measures to protect their health and well-being.

Leave Melissa alone! 😅

A relaxing weekend doesn’t need alcohol to make it memorable.

Whether it’s spending time with friends, enjoying nature, getting active, or simply resting, there are plenty of ways to have a good time without the rum.

This weekend, rest the rum and recharge your mind and body.
