In celebration of the 27th Anniversary of the Enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which coincides with the 65th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco hosted a reception in Hanoi on 30 July 2026. The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Lê Anh Tuấn, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, members of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of International Organizations and Vietnamese ministerial departments. The occasion celebrated not only Morocco's national achievements but also the enduring friendship and growing partnership between the two countries.
In his speech, Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco to Vietnam Jamale Chouaibi highlighted Morocco's remarkable transformation under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI over the past 27 years. He emphasized the Kingdom's achievements in industrialization, renewable energy, infrastructure, tourism, and preparations for co-hosting the FIFA World Cup 2030. The Ambassador also underlined that the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations reflects a partnership founded on mutual respect, solidarity, and a shared commitment to peace and development, expressing confidence that Morocco and Viet Nam will continue to elevate their cooperation across political, economic, educational, and strategic fields.
Mr. Lê Anh Tuấn, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, praised Morocco’s remarkable progress under the guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, while highlighting the longstanding bonds of friendship between the two countries and Morocco’s important role as one of Viet Nam’s key economic partners in North Africa.
