𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗣 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗥𝗜 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗔
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ha Noi, with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, successfully organized a Familiarization (FAM) Tour to Sri Lanka from 10-18 May for 5 leading tour operators and 3 prominent travel bloggers and media influencers from Viet Nam. The program was sponsored by the SLTPB while local hospitality arrangements were facilitated by Andrew – The Travel Company.
The tour offered participants a firsthand experience of Sri Lanka’s breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, renowned hospitality, wildlife, and diverse tourism experiences. Organized to further strengthen tourism cooperation and promote Sri Lanka within the Vietnamese market, the program featured visits to iconic destinations including Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Yala, and Colombo.
During the visit, the delegation explored UNESCO World Heritage sites, experienced Sri Lanka’s famous Ceylon Tea culture, enjoyed the scenic beauty of the hill country, and took part in a wildlife safari at Yala National Park. Participants also conducted hotel inspections at several leading hospitality properties, gaining valuable insights into Sri Lanka’s tourism infrastructure and travel experiences suitable for Vietnamese travelers.
The FAM Tour served as an important platform to enhance tourism partnerships and people-to-people connectivity between Sri Lanka and Viet Nam. Participating tour operators and influencers expressed strong appreciation for Sri Lanka’s cultural richness, scenic diversity, and growing potential for future tourism collaboration and destination promotion initiatives.
The Embassy remains committed to working closely with tourism authorities, travel industry stakeholders, and media partners to enhance mutual understanding, increase tourism exchanges, and promote Sri Lanka as a diverse, safe, and welcoming destination for Vietnamese travelers.
