This is a locally-engaged position governed by Austrade’s Overseas Engaged Employees terms and conditions of employment and Vienamese labour law. Candidates must have the right to live and legally work in Vietnam at the time of appointment. Austrade will not be able to provide any sponsorship letter nor be involved in the work visa application process.

**THE ROLE**
The NSW Trade and Investment Director is co-located in Austrade’s office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This position requires a highly motivated senior staff member with experience in business development, preferably in an international environment, to deliver the NSW Trade & Investment Strategy for Vietnam.
As a member of the Austrade Vietnam team, the successful candidate will:
Identify productive FDI projects and leads for the NSW economy
Identify opportunities for priority industries/markets for NSW export ventures
Develop extensive in-market networks
Maximise impact and results of NSW Government activities such as ministerial visits, trade missions, market visits and international events.
