Professor. Dr. Kent E. Carpenter spent the first five months of 2024 working at NTU as a Fulbright scholar. This is the second time he received this award.
GS. Kent Carpenter has supported the Biodiversity and Conservation scientific team at NTU to successfully implement 3 PEERs projects. Continuing his successes, Professor Kent and his colleagues have completed manuscripts on Population Genetics of Mekong River fish, provided scientific advice to young lecturers and graduate students, and taught about Climate Change and Extinction Risk, as well as supporting the English Club of the Institute of Biotechnology and Environment.
Professor Kent also connected Nha Trang University's cooperation with the Smithsonian Institution, Old Dominion University and IUCN by organizing training workshops on Metabarcoding and Redlish Assessment.
