The Youth Parliament Steering Committee met to review progress and plan for the upcoming Youth Parliament 2026 sessions in August.

The meeting provided an opportunity for partners and stakeholders to share ideas, strengthen preparations, and ensure a meaningful and impactful experience for all youth participants.

Thank you to all Steering Committee members for your commitment and support as we continue preparing for Youth Parliament 2026. Together, we are building the next generation of young leaders. 🇻🇺✨

📝 How to get a copy:
🔹 Pass by the Vanuatu National Youth Council office to collect a hard copy, OR
🔹 Download the form here 👉
✅ Who can apply:
Vanuatu citizen, aged 18–30
No criminal record
Proven track record of community/youth work
Has held merit positions in school or community
Confident public speaker
A representative or Provincial/Municipal Youth Member
Able to provide your own formal suit for the Youth Parliament Session

📎 You'll also need:

3 letters of support (teacher, employer, coach, youth worker, family friend, church, or NGO)
A copy of your National ID or certified birth certificate

📅 Deadline: Applications must be received by 4:30pm, Friday 5th July 2026

The Youth Parliament Steering Committee recently visited the VANGO office to discuss plans for this year's Youth Parliament.
VANGO, together with its youth and education NGO members, looks forward to collaborating closely with the Committee to deliver a successful and impactful Youth Parliament in 2026. We are excited to support this important platform that empowers young people to engage in leadership, civic participation, and national development.
