🎓 Shefa Principals' Conference 2026 officially opens in Port Vila

The Ministry of Education and Training, through the Shefa Provincial Education Office, is proud to host the final Provincial Principals' Conference from 15–17 June 2026.

Under the theme "Strengthening School Leadership, Enhancing Curriculum Delivery and Fostering Innovation for Future-Ready Education," school leaders from across Shefa Province have gathered to share experiences, discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and contribute to shaping the future of education in Vanuatu.

School principals play a vital role in leading teaching and learning, supporting students and teachers, and building strong connections between schools and communities. Their voices are essential in helping the Ministry understand what is happening in classrooms and how we can continue improving education outcomes for every child.

Together, we are building stronger schools, stronger leadership, and a brighter future for all learners in Vanuatu.

🇻🇺📚 The Ministry of Education and Training proudly represented Vanuatu at the Disaster Education and Resilience Training held from 18–22 May 2026 in Miyazaki City, Japan, under the University of Miyazaki and JICA Grassroots Project.
As part of the training, MoET showcased its new awareness video, Earthquake Ready: The Importance of School Drill, developed with the National Disaster Management Office and UNICEF Pacific. The video teaches students and teachers key earthquake safety actions, including “DROP, COVER, and HOLD ON” and safe evacuation procedures.
Together, we continue strengthening safer schools and more resilient communities across Vanuatu. 🌏🤝
