Hello Sunshiney loves! It’s been a while. ❤️ we’re currently having adventures in Australia, on the Sunshine Coast. We’ve been spending a lot of time at the beach and riding bikes and meeting new people. We’ve also been spending time trying to make a difference in the world by joining protests against damaging environmental practices as well as awareness campaigns. Today we were bees to raise awareness of the plight of these amazing and very important insects. Their existence around the world Is threatened by loss of habitats and chemicals like “round up” and of course, climate change.
Do what you can with what you know and then learn more. ❤️❤️

VCCI - Good morning Vanuatu. For anyone who did not receive the newsletter from the VCCI, please see the below information with respect to the Public consultation we are holding this coming Tuesday:

All Business Members and members of the Public are invited to attend the Single Use Plastic Ban Consultation Meeting with the Vanuatu Government Environment Department and Department of Foreign Affairs.

The Consultation meeting will be held on:
Tuesday 26 February at 10 am.
Please Note that the venue has changed to VNPF conference room.

Minister of External Trade Honorable Ralph Regenvanu announced this week that the Government of Vanuatu is seeking to ban the following single-use plastics by the 1st of December, 2019:

All plastic packaging of fruits and vegetables for retail sale

Forks, knives, spoons designed for single use

Plates designed for single use

Cups designed for single use – plastic and polystyrene

Stirrers/swizzle sticks

Disposable nappies for babies
