Farewell and Best Wishes, Jojo Fletcher!

Today, we bid farewell to our valued colleague, Jojo, from the Quality Assurance & Assessment team.

Jojo has been a dedicated member of the VQA family, and we sincerely thank him for his commitment, professionalism, and contributions during his time with us.

As he embarks on an exciting new chapter, Jojo will be continuing his studies at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, pursuing a Master of Educational Leadership (Policy & Planning). We are incredibly proud of this achievement and wish him every success in his academic journey and future career.

Thank you for your service, Jojo. Your VQA family will miss you, and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish.

ATTENTION ALL PSET PROVIDERS

The Vanuatu Qualifications Authority (VQA) reminds all Post-School Education and Training (PSET) providers to use the official VQA Issue Register Form when reporting any issues, errors, or discrepancies identified in Units of Competency(UoCs).

Using the official Issue Register helps us to:
- Ensure issues are directed to the appropriate team for review.
- Track each submission through to resolution.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of qualifications across Vanuatu.

For your convenience, the VQA Issue Register Form can now be completed and submitted online from any device—no printing, scanning, or emailing of forms is required.

We encourage all academic and administrative staff to use this official reporting process for all UoC-related issues.

Last week, the Vanuatu Qualifications Authority (VQA) successfully completed a three-day Capacity Building Workshop on Policy Development, strengthening staff skills in needs and stakeholder analysis, theory of change development, SMART indicator design, evidence-based decision-making, and policy review to improve effectiveness and relevance.

VQA extends its sincere gratitude to the Pacific Community for facilitating and supporting this important workshop. Your partnership, expertise, and commitment have been invaluable in strengthening policy development capacity within our organization.
