Time is almost up!! April 1st is practically here!!

If you are interested in attending the 52nd Cadet Lawman Academy, please make sure you complete the online application using the website below. If the website or QR code give you issues, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can assist.

Complete the online application first! Your name will not show on the list of prospective cadets unless your online application has been submitted.

If you are concerned about not having your physical and endorsement forms attached when you submit your online application, we can help with that too!

Once you complete the online application, you should receive a confirmation email with an alphanumeric confirmation ID that you can use to go back into your application at a later time to upload your endorsement form and physical.

***If you did not or do not receive a confirmation ID, it may mean that your application was not successfully submitted. Please reach out to us either here or at [email protected] and we can let you know if we have your application and/or provide that confirmation ID to you!!***

Academy dates are June 7th-13th and will be held at Connors State College in Warner, OK. We can't wait to see everyone in June!!

About Cadet Lawman The Cadet Lawman Academy's (CLA) mission is twofold. CLA is offered to high school students who are transitioning from their Junior to Senior years. Time is running out!! Applications for the 52nd Cadet Lawman are due no later than April 1st!

We have had some questions about the endorsement forms and physicals...

☝️ - Physicals need to be current within one year of the Academy dates. If you have a physical that is dated for July 1, 2025 forward, it is good through the dates of the Academy. If your physical is from May 2025, it does not mean you cannot apply! We just need an updated physical prior to you attending the Academy.

✌️ - If you have been waiting to complete the online application until you have your endorsement form and physical, please go ahead and complete the online portion of the application. Once you complete the online portion, you should receive a confirmation email with an alphanumeric confirmation ID that you can use to go back into your application at a later time to upload your endorsement form and physical.

Congratulations to MAJ Jansen Idlett on graduating from the FBI National Academy! MAJ Idlett previously served as the Cadet Lawman Commandant and has been involved in the program for many years.

Congratulations to Major Jansen Idlett on his graduation from the FBI National Academy!

The National Academy offers 10 weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training.

Major Idlett will be bringing back all he learned over this time and applying it to his position at the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP troopers are continuously learning and honing their skills so that we can better serve the public.

Whew! It's been awhile since the 51st Academy but we are back! Cadet Lawman staff members are busy gathering everything for and scheduling the 52nd Academy...which includes selecting additional staff for Academy week!

As always, we are going to start out with our Junior Staff! So, if you were a cadet with the 51st Academy, you are invited! 🎉🎉🎉

We are doing things a little different this year. We are going to use the email we have on file from your application last year to send the link to apply for Junior Staff. If you don't have access to that email or have a new email address you would prefer us send it to, please send us a message or drop a comment below.

If you are interested in being a member of Junior Staff for the 52nd Academy, please complete the application. ✅👍
