Seeing quite a bit of activity here. I know alot of folks are looking for some kind of an update as to what we're doing. We don't want to humiliate anyone and the reason for what we do isn't to get pat on the back or thank you out of this.
With that being said, we found a young lady who served in the United States Air Force and was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Single mother of 4 kids, ranging from pampers to teenager. Got dealt some cards and we know it was hard. So we stepped in.
We provided a Thanksgiving meal to her and her kids. 28lb bird with all the fixings.
Then we took her Christmas shopping. Electronics, toys, bicycles, clothes for all of them. We will be helping her wrap them all this weekend and then she gets to suprise her kids with a Christmas that she told them all she wouldn't be having. Can you imagine telling your kids you can't get them anything?. Yeah, neither can we.
So that's what we've been doing. Alot of running, shopping, and soon to be wrapping, then driving it all to her place. So happy holidays everyone. Be kind out there.
