The WOLFPACK had the honor of hosting the U.S. Ambassador to Spain, Julissa Reynoso. Prior to serving the Biden administration, Reynoso worked on the faculty of Columbia University School of Law and School of International & Public Affairs. She has also served as the U.S. Ambassador to Uruguay under the Obama administration.
Congratulations to LCDR Avidano on her promotion! We also bid farewell to LT Varela, for a successful tour as the training officer.

Bulkeley had the opportunity to host 200+ midshipman from the U.S. Naval Academy in support of block 1 PROTRAMID. The MIDS had the chance to see how the surface Navy operates underway while observing man overboard drills, DC drills, DIVTACS, small arms gun shoot, boat ops & even some marine life.

John D. Bulkeley commanded groups of PT boats and minesweepers that cleared the way for the D-Day amphibious invasion at Utah Beach in Normandy.

Had the chance to execute a tactical maneuvering exercise with D 554 Caio Duilio, an Italian Andrea Doria-class Destroyer this weekend. The ship takes her name from the 3rd century BC Roman leader and admiral Gaius Duilius. The destroyer Caio Duilio is the fourth Italian warship with this historical name. Such a blast 🛥
