BRINGING SERVICES CLOSER TO ALL FIJIANS
The Fijian Government is committed to improving service delivery for all Fijians through innovative service delivery methods. The REACH platform is one of the Government’s innovative methods to improve service delivery for all Fijians, and it is through this platform as well that it delivers information and related services based on the social, economic and legal rights as enshrined in the Fijian Constitution.
The Ministry of Women, Children & Poverty Alleviation, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme through funding from the Government of Japan, will be coordinating a two weeks REACH programme in the Province of Nadroga/ Navosa from 22nd November to the 3rd of December in the following areas:

• 22 November - Lomawai Village Hall
• 23 November - Semo Village Hall Ground
• 24 November - Nadovi Police Post
• 25 November - Sigatoka Town (B.L Naidu car park opposite bus stand)
• 26 November - Vatumali Government Station Keiyasi (Adi Nadroga-Navosa day)
• November - Tagaqe Primary School Ground
• 30 November - Baravi Handicrafts Carpark Vatukarasa
• 1 December - Conua District School
• 2 December - Sigatoka Village Ground
• 3 December - Korotogo Village Hall
Stakeholders that will be part of the mobile service includes Fijian Elections Office, Ministry of Justice (Births, Deaths & Marriages Office), Ministry of Health & Medical Services, Medical Services Pacific, Fiji Police Force, Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission, Ministry of iTaukei Affairs, Spinal Injury Association, Empower Pacific, Fiji Water Authority, United Nations Development Programme, Project HEAVEN, Sai Prema Foundation Fiji and the Ministry of Women, Children & Poverty Alleviation.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Rosy Akbar encourages Fijians from surrounding villages, communities and settlements to take advantage of the REACH service platform.
Minister Akbar added that the Fijian Government through her Ministry is committed to providing Fijians the best service delivery irrespective of their geographical location. During the two-week awareness, members of the public will be able to access services such as Registration of birth, birth certificates, social welfare services, counselling, medical checks, new voter registration and correction of voter information.
