The Commission's mission is to empower, promote and advance the Middle Eastern American community in the state of Michigan.

The Michigan Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs advises the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) on issues relating to the Arab and Chaldean communities in Michigan and promotes awareness of their culture and history.

Did you know that April is Arab American and Chaldean Heritage Month in Michigan? ACCESS is celebrating by partnering with the Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs (CMEAA) to uplift Arab and Chaldean voices and advocate for our communities.

Join us on Wednesday, April 15, in Lansing for our annual ACCESS & CMEAA Advocacy Day! This important event allows you to engage directly with state legislators, voice your concerns about policies that impact our communities, and discuss critical issues that matter to you.
