On Thursday, the 119th conducted Leader Training Time (LTT), beginning with an easy ruck to the designated training site. Once there, the unit focused on self-recovery and Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR) operations. These hands-on exercises reinforced the importance of being able to troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field without immediate reliance on maintenance personnel.
Self-recovery and BDAR are essential skills that every soldier should learn, as they enable quick recovery operations when vehicles or equipment become disabled. In a real-world scenario, waiting on maintenance assets could delay mission progress, putting personnel and objectives at risk. By mastering these techniques, soldiers ensure that they can assess and mitigate mechanical failures swiftly, keeping the mission moving forward. Training like this prepares the 119th to operate effectively in austere environments where self-sufficiency is critical to success.

She works diligently to ensure success, always prioritizing the needs of her platoon and company over her own. Her strong leadership and unwavering support for her troops make her an invaluable asset to the 119th ICTC. We are fortunate to have her.

Last week, the 119th ICTC conducted rigorous training at Fort Barfoot, qualifying on multiple weapons platforms to ensure our readiness remains at the highest level. We also trained with Night Vision Goggles (NVG) to enhance our night operations capabilities. Additionally, we practiced shooting while wearing CBRN masks, simulating combat conditions. This comprehensive training ensures we are fully prepared for any scenario, maintaining a high state of readiness in the event we need to deploy and respond effectively in all environments.

We took a brief break from range operations to celebrate PFC Hammonds' well-deserved promotion to SPC. We’re proud of his accomplishments and excited to support his continued growth at 119th ICTC. Congratulations, SPC Hammonds!

Early morning grind for the 119th Forge Masters! We kicked off the day with a rigorous ruck march, transitioning seamlessly into our leaders time training. Yesterday's focus: tactically and technically occupying a new area of operations on Inchon Beach. Teamwork in action as we established our company and platoon headquarters, all while implementing robust physical securities. Commitment, strategy, and resilience define us!

The trunk or treat and spine-chilling haunted trail brought laughter and joy, uniting all units in a spectacular display of camaraderie and team spirit. Together, we forged bonds that strengthen our commitment to having each other’s backs, both at home and downrange. We are not just Forge Masters; alongside the incredible 11th BN, we stand proud as Bandits! As we bid farewell to the spooky season, let’s shift our focus to Thanksgiving, embracing a time of gratitude and unity with open hearts—and of course, mouthwatering feasts!🦃🍁

Feel the Burn!! 🥵 Last Thursday our soilders definitely felt the burning from the CBRN range. We conducted our annual CBRN training, following guidance from SPC Wright. She made sure our masks were fully functional and that every solider knew how to properly don them. Conducting CBRN training is vital for preparedness, ensuring personnel can effectively respond to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats in real-world situations.
