That Thursday, Grade 8 students (14–16 years) did dive into a hands-on learning experience blending marine conservation, creative thinking, and waste-to-art activities; in partnership with the impactful and innovative team ♻️✨

The students 20 Marine Conservation coloring books from to spark curiosity and ocean love 🌊🐟

✨ Session Highlights:
1️⃣ Where does your snack wrapper go?
2️⃣ What happens when your bottle goes swimming in the Red Sea?
3️⃣ How can one small change keep our cities clean?

This visit highlighted the measurable progress of Sharm El-Sheikh in advancing energy efficiency, biodiversity protection, sustainable tourism, and community engagement; demonstrating how local action, supported by international partnerships, is driving Egypt’s leadership in green transformation.

🌍✨ Celebrating a New Beginning for the Red Sea Desert! ✨🌍

Today, we officially launched the Maaza Colourful Cultures Project with our very first activity: the Makadi Clean-Up Campaign.

This milestone marks the start of our journey to transform the safari sector into a model of sustainability, while preserving the unique cultural and natural heritage of the Maaza tribes.

Our clean-up was not just about collecting waste; it was about setting the foundation for our first pillar: sustainable operations and biodiversity conservation.

By addressing desert waste at its source, we are creating a baseline model that can be scaled across Hurghada Safari Land and beyond.

Together we took an on-ground action for Earth 🌍
Biggest Collaborative Cleanup 19.05
📌 Sharm El-Sheikh

is proud of being the on-ground arm for Green Sharm El-Sheikh Project among many other passionate collaborative partners.

A mega cleanup happened in the depth of the sea water 🌊 all the way up to the land 🏝️ in parallel with clean transport honorary cycling tour with and Sharm's electric bus 🚌

Followed by an educational workshop for .social university and Sharm British school students on how to transform waste to art 🎨

A special thanks to Dr. Inas Hafez; Deputy to the Governor of South Sinai for her support and attendance 🙏🏽

On May 10th, 2025, we joined the world in honoring World Migratory Bird Day with vibrant celebrations across Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Marsa Alam, Hurghada, and Madinat Makadi 🌊 🐦

From the skies above to the hands of children below, birds came to life, soaring overhead in real time as young minds brought them to paper through color, creativity, and imagination 🎨✨

Because this day is not just about observing birds, it is about connecting with nature, creating shared experiences, and reaffirming our commitment to protect these incredible travelers and the ecosystems they depend on.

Together We Care and Collaborate for a Greener Sharm El-Sheikh!

On April 22, 2025, in celebration of Earth Day 🌍, local cycling community, together with staff from Jaz and , participated in eco-activities including cycling supported by Community for bicycles and then riding an electric bus promoting clean transport. They also engaged in a mini-cleanup at Fanar area.

Thanks to our stakeholders and municipality for their collaborative efforts.

And YES! The trial phase of the electric buses are active now in Sharm El-Sheikh starting April 13th till April 20th free of charge.
• Official operation begins May 1st, 2025, with a fare of 20 EGP per ride.
• ⁠Operating hours: 2 PM to 2 AM daily.
• ⁠Trial route: Starting from the Old Market, passing through Salam Road and Sheikh Zayed Road behind the airport, reaching Naama Bay (Rixos roundabout), then returning via Nabq Street, airport front road, and back again through Salam Road to the Old Market.

This is not just about transport; it is about rethinking urban movement for a more human and environmentally conscious city; thus Earth 🌿
