This isn't just about construction – it’s about readiness‼️

Joint Base Lewis-McChord broke ground this week on Project FORGE, a pioneering $169.1 million pilot program that completely rewrites the playbook on military construction. By bypassing traditional red tape and using flexible contracting, this initiative will modernize base housing, operational facilities, and airlift infrastructure faster than ever before (it’s already demonstrated time savings of up to 50% and cost savings of up to 30% over legacy methods).

This ensures our service members within I Corps and the 62nd Airlift Wing have the cutting-edge facilities they need to rapidly train, deploy, and project power across the Indo-Pacific.

A total of 19 new quad and duplex-style homes are now complete at Fort Jackson. The modern layouts range from 3 to 4 bedrooms and feature ADA-accessible options.

Expanding on-post housing is an important step in supporting the well-being and readiness of the families who live and work on our installations. https://www.army.mil/article/294599

You may have heard about the battery-powered sUAS that broke the record for flight endurance at Game of Drones last month — but did you know that the historic flight was made possible by brushless motors assembled at Tobyhanna Army Depot?

By building these cutting-edge components domestically across our Organic Industrial Base, AMC is eliminating foreign dependencies and securing the future of American drone dominance.

The food scene is expanding at Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield!

Whether you're trying the installation's newest initiative ~ FEED ~ (Flexible Eating and Expanded Dining) or grabbing food at the new food truck plaza, Soldiers have options on-post when they get hungry.

This flexibility is great for Soldiers whose days are filled with training or motor pool operations.

We're rolling out a generational modernization of our property accountability processes to help Soldiers spend less time on manual processes and more time running their supply room, conducting maintenance or focusing on training.

This year, we've rolled out six initiatives—including ParaLine, SEAM and Equipment Redistribution and Divestiture Sites—specifically designed to cut equipment inventory times in half.

Still attached to those dusty 3-ring binders? 🥴

Let us give you the cold, hard proof that it’s time to go digital ... And take it from a unit that put ParaLine to the test in January:

• Preparing inventory documents: 2 weeks ⏩ 5 minutes
• Verifying and updating shortage annexes: 8 weeks ⏩ 3 hours
• Generating total shortage value: 1 week ⏩15 minutes

Yep – that’s a time savings of 99%. This could be you!

How are we ensuring our Army installations can withstand modern physical, cyber and environmental threats? 🤔

Installations are our primary power projection platforms. To sustain the force, AMC must build resilience into our infrastructure from the ground up.

Find out how one of our subordinate commands, U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command, is securing mission readiness in the latest Army Communicator article, "Standardizing Military Installation Resilience." 👇
