ICYMI - When leadership, recruitment, and units throughout the Army unite, incredible things happen!!

Brig. Gen. Sara Dudley, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Recruiting Division, took center stage this week in Atlanta, Ga at SkillsUSA 2026. Brig. Gen. Dudley kicked off the "Call to Action: Annual Advisors Session" with an inspiring message on the critical role advisors play in shaping the future of our workforce.

She also joined a powerhouse panel for "Championing Student Success: Building Skills, Access, and Career Readiness," where she highlighted the Army's commitment to supporting educators who cultivate the technical talent our nation depends on. As she noted, the hands-on proficiency demonstrated by SkillsUSA competitors is the exact caliber of expertise the Army seeks.

Soon after Brig. Gen. Dudley toured the Georgia World Congress Center to connect directly with the hardworking recruiters and command team of the Atlanta Recruiting Battalion. She also stopped by the booths of our incredible supporting units, including USASOC, OCAR, USACC, AVCOE, and AEMO (MEB), who are all showing students how their technical passions can become a reality in the Army.

SkillsUSA 2026 in Atlanta brought the energy.

We were honored to have Maj. Gen. Jennifer Marrast Host, commanding general of the 3rd Theater Medical Command, takes the stage and speaks to more than 500 students about leadership, service, and how hands-on trade skills translate directly into critical missions within the U.S. Army Reserve.

The conversation did not stop at the main stage. U.S. Army Recruiters, both active-duty and Army Reserve, are on the ground, engaging with participants and students across the convention floor.

Whether students are competing in automotive, logistics, engineering, or medical trades, our recruiting teams are showing them how to build dual-track careers by using their technical skills to serve their country while developing strong civilian careers.

The U.S. Army Experience is showing what happens when recruiting, community engagement, and installation partnerships come together with purpose.

Held at Fort Hood, Texas, this immersive three-day event brought students from 55 high schools across Texas together for a firsthand look at Army life, teamwork, discipline, and career opportunities. Student-athletes took on Basic Training Challenges, while other students explored more than 50 Army career paths during a Career Expo featuring Soldiers, recruiters, heavy equipment, and aviation assets.

The impact speaks for itself: more than 6,000 students reached, over 1,500 students requesting more information, and a digital footprint reaching more than 112 million.

More than an event, the U.S. Army Experience is a scalable bridge between the Army and the communities we serve.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just results. ⚡️😤

Future Soldiers from the Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion just proved they’re built different. The recruits stepped up to face a diagnostic Army Fitness Test (AFT) and absolutely crushed it: Deadlifts, Hand-Release Push-Ups, the Sprint-Drag-Carry, Planks, and a 2-Mile finish.

To make the day even more memorable, the recruits had the honor of meeting Drill Sergeant Moreland. Getting to see the iconic leadership and Drill Sergeant hat up close gave our future leaders a great preview of the high standards and elite mentorship waiting for them at Basic Training.

Outstanding job to all the Future Soldiers for putting in the work. You proved you are ready!

Take the first step, stop by and visit your local Army recruiter today! Whether you want to serve active duty or in the Army Reserve while staying in your hometown, our Recruiters has the roadmap for you.
